A few weeks ago it snowed! it actually stuck for more than 1 hour so the kids had to build a snowman. They dressed up in all the layers they could squeeze into from head to toe and ran out back to play in the snow. Cole was the expert snow ball roller making his ball perfectly round. Brit like to roll her into a football shape which I had to continue to bunch back into a ball. Ashton thought it a great pleasure to make a snow angel in 1/2 inch of snow. It was great to see their excitement since we didn't see ANY snow in California. Check out the pics.
The other day I took the kids with me to get my allergy shots. As we were waiting an older woman in a wheelchair came into the room and parked right next to us. She began chatting with Ashton. He looked at her and at her wheel chair and decided it was okay to talk to her. He walks up to her wheelchair and lovingly pets the wheel and says " my name is Ashton. I like your wheels." She looked at me then back and it him. I told her what he said (not that it was hard to understand what he was saying) and she looked a bit confused. You could tell that she didn't get what he was saying to her. It was really funny to see Ashton upset cause he couldn't take her wheels home with us.
We have also found the illusive Wii. The kids are so excited to finally have one! We have been lookuing for a year now and just ran into a new shipment by luck. The kids love to have a new gaming system, however, they don't like to wait turns to play. We are all excited to have a new toy to play with. I know Jared secretly likes having it too!
